Days will start with class, continue with improv tasks & movement research/development. Days 1 & 2 will give time for developing, questioning and playing with material before finding clearer structure by Day 3.

PLAYTIME offers participants the opportunity to dig deeper into their creativity through improvisation and task-work. Class always begins with guided improvisation to ignite our instincts and strengthen the creative mind & body. Technique, fantasy and body awareness inform the trajectory and ever changing script for every class.
PLAYTIME+ includes a choreographed phrase that will be taught with specific phrasing in mind.
my goal
I encourage my students to approach the unfamiliar or daunting areas of their training with courage & playfulness. I truly look to inspire my students to discover their individual voices and value as movers. Most importantly, I challenge movers to listen with their eyes and learn not only from me, but to absorb from the others in the room. Finding the balance between ambition, effort, observation and passion can unlock unlimited potential. I love to remind my students that every success is recognized by overcoming a moment of difficulty or discomfort. Those moments are the stepping stones to our success.
